Community Governor Term of Office: 19.7.2021-18.7.2025 Since graduating from her PhD Debbie has held a variety of commercial roles within multiple organisations. Debbie is a mother of a son who is a pupil in Chadsmead.

Community Governor Link Governor for Pupil Premium, Special Educational Needs and Difficulties (SEND), Looked After Children (LAC) and Reading Term of Office: 19.7.2021-18.7.2025 Sarah has had two children attend school. Sarah works in publishing, writing teaching resources for Primary Literacy. Over the years Sarah has helped out at school by listening to children read and running guided reading sessions.

She works part time and writes magazine articles. Iona also loves gardening, dancing and creative writing - Iona has self-published children's stories including the 'Jubilee Bee' series. As our writing Governor, Iona really enjoys sharing how school encourages and inspires children to get the most out of their writing.

Link Governor for Staff Wellbeing Term of Office: 20.9.2021-19.9.2025 Donna joined Chadsmead Primary Academy in September 2016 as Key Stage 1 Phase Leader and Year 1/2 teacher. Donna also leads Reading in school. As staff governor Donna aims to offer her knowledge and expertise as a primary teacher and provide a positive relationship between staff and governors.

Link Governor for Safeguarding, PE and Sports Premium Term of Office: 24.03.2021-24.03.2025 Gary is a father of two boys one of whom attends Chadsmead. He works in the NHS as a vascular surgeon. He has held roles in medical leadership and on sports governing bodies. In his spare time, Gary is a high performance sports coach, coaching Touch Rugby for England as well as his sons’ teams at Lichfield Rugby Club.

Link Governor for Maths Term of Office: 24.03.2021-24.03.2025 Anna currently works as a Clinical Psychologist with a local mental health team. She has a love of all things arts, including live performance, music and literature. As a parent of two primary age daughters, Anna seeks to use her role as governor to support the school to help its children develop their roots to grow and wings to fly!

Link Governor for Early Years Term of Office: 01.09.2022-31.08.2026 I am a retired teacher who worked for many years teaching English and Drama at Secondary level in Lichfield schools. I have filled the gap from work with many activities, painting being the one which has given me most pleasure and I still spend lots of time on it. I did feel that I wanted to do something properly meaningful and when my grandson started his education here at Chadsmead, I became interested in becoming a member of the SSC. I am now very pleased to be on such a lively, committed committee.

She works as a Project Manager with a background of business process improvement. Sarah has a passion for all things science and maths and loves spending time in nature and exploring places of historical significance with her family.
